The Destination LE3 is Firestone's Highway All-Season tire developed for drivers of light trucks, Crossovers, and SUVs looking for year round traction. Designed to deliver a quiet and comfortable ride, the Destination LE3 offers a long treadlife and confidence in inclement weather, including light snow.
The Destination LE3 features an advanced rubber compound molded into a symmetric tread design focused on delivering a smooth ride and precise clear road handling. Utilizing Firestone's TractionTech package, the Destination LE3 employs full-depth tread features that help retain consistent performance as the tire wears. Firestone's Hydro-Grip technology, which includes open shoulder slots and an optimized tread pattern, helps the Destination LE3 slice through water, reducing hydroplaning and aiding wet traction. An enhanced tread design uses full-depth 3D sipes providing confidence in winter conditions.
The internal structure is comprised of a polyester casing mated to two steel belts for durability, and a nylon reinforcement that further increases high speed stability.

...I've been very happy with the handling in both dry and wet conditions...
Overall I’ve been very happy with these tires in my 2017 Mazda CX-9 AWD. Road noise is more than tolerable, with slight humming a certain speeds (~75-80 mph). I’ve been very happy with the handling in both dry and wet conditions. I drive my CX-9 fairly aggressively (which is one of the reasons I bought it). Just came back from South Lake Tahoe and drove up and down a driveway with 1-2 inches of snow cover and freshly plowed but slushy roads. No issues. AWD and M+S tired were required to not have to use chains and both worked together perfectly.

...They are quiet and traction in rain is great and braking response is also, I have better steering than the first ones...
This is my second set of firestone tires, first ones were the Destination LE2 and I loved them so when I saw they improved with the LE3 I knew I was going to get them when my first set ran out which I got around 53,00 miles on them which is good for New York City potholes and stop and go traffic everyday. I can say these tires are what I expected from Firestone a good tire. They are quiet and traction in rain is great and braking respone is also, I have better steering than the first ones. But for only the few hundred miles on them I am overly pleased and satisfied, waiting to see how they handle in NYC winter weather this year.

I was glad I had new tires many times as I drove up and down mountains, in wet, in dry, and in snow covered...
I put two of these on the front of my van just before leaving for a trip out west, CO, AZ, UT, NM, on a ski trip for a few months. I was glad I had new tires many times as I drove up and down mountains, wet, dry, and snow covered. I am going to buy two more right before this years trip. They cost me a little more than I usually pay but worth every cent.

...Great in rain, and they have excellent grip on dry pavement. Handling is WAYYY better with these over the Prinx or on my last Pilot I had Continental tires and they weren't even as good as these...
I almost always buy Continental tires, or Kumho. I have bought Firestone tires in the past and I haven't really had the urge to write a review. THESE tires deserve a review however. I'm very impressed with these tires. I got them after the snow season up here in MA, but I can review on the handling, grip, and quietness. I had a set of no name tires(Prinx) on my Pilot when I bought it, they were loud, good in snow but loud. SO I bought a set of wheels/tires from TireRack. These are definitely really quiet, hardly any road noise, and they are broken in at 1100 miles. Great in rain, and they have excellent grip in on dry pavement. Handling is WAYYY better with these over the Prinx or on my last Pilot I had Continental tires and they weren't even as good as these. I will absolutely buy these again.

...Hold the road very well whether wet or dry, smooth and quiet...
Purchased these Firestone LE3 to replace the LE2 that originally came on my truck. Very happy with the LE3. 6K on them and they barely look worn. Hold the road very well whether wet or dry, smooth and quiet. Don’t drive off road or haven’t driven them on ice or snow - last winter saw no snow in the middle Atlantic states. Would definitely buy again.

...The higher treadwear Destination LE3 has consistently lasted 70k miles...
My husband and I purchased these tires since the OEM tires didn't last long. We were only getting 45K to 50K on the Bridgestone tires. The higher treadwear Destination LE3 has consistently lasted 70k miles. This is our 3rd set of Destination tires, and we will stick with them for the life of the vehicle.
