The Destination LE3 is Firestone's Highway All-Season tire developed for drivers of light trucks, Crossovers, and SUVs looking for year round traction. Designed to deliver a quiet and comfortable ride, the Destination LE3 offers a long treadlife and confidence in inclement weather, including light snow.
The Destination LE3 features an advanced rubber compound molded into a symmetric tread design focused on delivering a smooth ride and precise clear road handling. Utilizing Firestone's TractionTech package, the Destination LE3 employs full-depth tread features that help retain consistent performance as the tire wears. Firestone's Hydro-Grip technology, which includes open shoulder slots and an optimized tread pattern, helps the Destination LE3 slice through water, reducing hydroplaning and aiding wet traction. An enhanced tread design uses full-depth 3D sipes providing confidence in winter conditions.
The internal structure is comprised of a polyester casing mated to two steel belts for durability, and a nylon reinforcement that further increases high speed stability.

Highway All-Season: The Quietest, Most Comfortable Truck Tires - 2024 Test 7 With Winter Update(24.17)
In our seventh tire test of the year, we took nine Highway All-Season tires to the street, test track, and into wintery conditions to see how they stacked up. The Highway All-Season category is a staple for trucks and large SUVs, combining the weight load limits needed with touring tire manners. If your driving experience keeps to paved and packed gravel surfaces, the Highway All-Season category is for you!
Ratings highlight excellence in the Firestone Destination LE3's highway all-season performance, with strong scores (9-10) in treadwear, comfort, and dry traction. Customers praise its long-lasting tread and smooth, quiet ride, noting consistent handling and responsive steering. Winter traction earns positive marks for snowy conditions, though ice performance shows occasional variability (scores 4-7). Wet grip and hydroplaning resistance are consistently rated 8-10, ensuring confidence in rain. Dry traction stands out as a top strength, with many users highlighting precise cornering and stability. ...Compared to the knobby off-road tires that were on my truck, these Firestones have excellent traction on initial acceleration in wet or dry conditions, cornering, and hydroplane resistance...
Excellent tires! Compared to the knobby off-road tires that were on my truck, these Firestones have excellent traction on initial acceleration in wet or dry conditions, cornering, and hydroplane resistance. They are also much quieter and have reduced the bouncing and jostling when going over bumps. Plus, they look great with the white lettering out. All around, I'm thrilled with the tires and the experience with Tire Rack.

...They're quiet and smooth on the highway, have great wet/dry tractionon pavement...
These tires have excellent manners and wear characteristics. They're quiet and smooth on the highway, have great wet/dry traction on pavement. They hold their own in snow and are capable but not outstanding with traction on ice. My experiences with Firestone Destination LE-3's are that they're better than tires costing substantially more.

...I was impressed with the performance of the tires in the recent snow. I pulled into some fairly deep snow, probably 8 to 10 inches, and was able to drive out without any troubles. My Suburban is 2 wheel drive, not 4 wheel.
I'm on my second set of these tires. The fronts wore out prematurely due to an improper alignment done by a "professional" shop. Those two tires had to be replaced well before they should have been, but that's on the "professional" shop, not the tires. This most recent purchase of two tires were for the rear tires on my Suburban. I don't have the mileage to note how long the first two survived under normal city and highway driving, but they seem to have worn out too quickly for my taste, albeit an even wear on both. I'll be keeping a closer eye on mileage for both the new front and rear tires this time, and I have the mileage noted in my maintenance records for this purpose. ...On gravel and dirt, they maintain excellent control...
These are better than the OEM Destination LE2 that came when my truck was new. These wear so much longer, they’re almost like new after 12000 all-season miles. I’ve had no problems with rain, ice, snow traction and all wheel drive. On gravel and dirt, they maintain excellent control. Would definitely recommend these Firestone Destination LE3 tires.

...Treadwear has been great. At 54,000 miles, there is still plenty of life left before tread depth nears the wear bars...
Predictable in wet and dry conditions. I use dedicated winter tires 3 months out of the year, so don't have experience with their snow/ice capabilities. Treadwear has been great. At 54,000 miles, there is still plenty of life left before tread depth nears the wear bars. A solid tire for the money.
