Yokohama  ADVAN NEOVA AD09

These tires were OEM on my 2008 Tacoma Double Cab. It is a TRD Sport...thus the highway tires. I have been very pleased with the performance of these tires during my time of ownership. They are quiet and have given me no problems with loss of traction on wet or dry hard surfaces. I do a small amount of off road driving during deer season here in Alabama and though I have never gotten stuck, they don't really shine in this area...but in fairness, they aren't designed to be an off road tire.

The tires have worn very evenly, and at 53K they still have at least another 5K left though I will likely replace them sooner. For a replacement tire I will go with an All Terrain for this truck, but if I had a SUV or 2WD truck I would have no problem going with these tires again.

i had these tires on my 98 ml and these tires are pretty bad. i thought they would be okay but apperantly they are not. they are okay in the rain, they are good in the dry and i feel a bit scary driving with them in the snow even though i have the ets abs and the AWD. i do not think i will get these tires again im thinking of getting the general grabbers at2. it will give my ml a meaner and bulkier look since im into off roading.

I just purchased a used 2006 gmc envoy that had a brand new set of the brigestone ht 2 on it i decided to get on this site and check out the reviews on the tire on wet and snowy roads all the reviews i read were very bad for snow and wet roads just happend to be that it was poring down rain outside when i was reading this review so i decided to go out and see for myself how bad and scary these tires were on wet roads im an experienced driver and have driven all kinds of 4 wheel drive vehicals on and off road since 1977 so i let these tires have my envoy has a 291 hp straight line six vortec engine with plenty of torque and sponke when you put the pedle down i went out into the country in the pouring down rain took off hard and fast from several stop signs while turning hard and could barely get the tires to break traction and couldnt get the back end to fish tail at all and i was in two wheel drive with stabil track turned off then i got up to like 65 to 70 miles an hour and hit podles of water and could get no signs of the hydro planing all the bad reviews talked abought i have not yet got the chance to try the tires out on snow and ice but i will in 2 months or so and update my review the only thing i can figure out abought why everyone else had such bad times on wet roads is that all there tires had like anywhere from like 18000 to 55ooo sounds like these tires show considerable where in most cases by like 25000 miles so naturally if most your tread is gone by 25000 you arnt going to get much traction on anything all i know is my tires with only 500 miles on them done great on wet roads i guess the only bad thing is how long is that great traction going to last maybe only up to 15000 time and mileage will tell ill have to keep you all updated.

After less than one year first tire blew out the entire outside wall. Since we drove 15,000 miles on it, the store we purchased at only gave a credit not full replacement. These are on my wife's grocery getter. Not off roading or in construction sites, mostly smooth highway. They were quiter and more comfortable than the last set which was geolanders.

These tires came OEM on my Santa Fe. Rode like a dream at first; a bit noisy but very smooth with good traction wet or dry and good hydroplaning resistance. Tread wear has been decent- all 4 are showing the tread wear indicators at 47,500 miles.

Unfortunately, I had them balanced and rotated at 6000 miles, and ever since the car dealer and tire shops have been unable to balance them properly. Even force balancing doesn't get them 100% smooth like when new. So I had to live with the vibration for a couple of years till they wore out. Lots of road noise, especially once they got to about 10000 miles.

Had a friend with an identical car with the same tires & had the same problem. Needless to say I could hardly wait for them to wear out so I could get a better tire on the car. Got some Goodyears coming- always had great service with Goodyear & looking forward to having a smooth ride again...

These came stock on my 06 Tacoma access cab. Got about 31000 out of em and threw in a 3 in kit for some flare. I liked the tires ride and highway aspects, even handled pretty well, but I was quite disappointed with the wear. I feel like i should have gotten around 50 out of these. Just purchased Dueler AT Revo's 265/70's and they are impressive. They are a sacrifice for handling, but on dirt... THEY HOOK-UP. I'm waiting for winter to test the traction.

This original equipment tire has not performed well at all. I hate to replace it already, but I feel that the tires are dangerous and extremely noisy. I do not recommend this tire on this model vehicle. I have had them siped because of the poor handling in wet conditions, and this has helped somewhat, but water puddles can not be more than a quarter of an inch deep or the car will spin and slide sideways.

i bought my santa fe with them on already. they were noisy then. now i have to turn the radio up to drown out the noise...don't by them...they're terrible in the rain, too.

Got our first snow. 1 inch and powdery. Stopping was HORRIBLE. ABS activated
at every touch of the brakes. Take off was not much better. Had to use 4WD to
compensate and still all four drivers spun with very little throttle. All season
radial? Are you kidding. JUNK!

These tires were on my 06 Equinox as new, and seemed ok until this winter. at 32,000 miles the traction became scary, pushing the front end on turns , sliding on stops and spinning and torqing to the right at the slightest acceleration! This car was flat out dangerous to drive on even the lightest snow! I hated my car, but after changing to a different brand, and type of tire all is well. These are possibly the worst tires I have ever seen in 36 years of driving! GM, and Bridgestone should be ashamed of this tire.

Second review, now at 26000 miles--mostly highway. Very poor ice and snow traction even in an AWD vehicle. Also, hydroplanes much worse now than last review at 13000 miles. We may be able to make it to 35000 miles before replacement, but won't be buying these tires again. Many claim to need replacing these tires on Equinox's and Saturn Vue's only after 25000 miles. We have upped the tire pressure to 35 from the suggested 30 which has seemed to help the tire life somewhat. One tire had to be replaced--weak side wall. Was putting mudguards on the Equinox and had to remove the rear tire/rim to install the mudflap. The tire was standing up and fell over on top of a screw driver lying on the ground. Had the vehicle in for a warranty claim soon after and the dealer couldn't believe how weak the sidewall was either considering what damaged the tire. I have already decided that the Kuhmo APT KL51 will be the replacement tire.

Replaced o.e. tires with these. Tires were rotated every 7000 miles. But were down to the wear bars in 37000 miles. Very dissapointed in tread wear.

Tread-wear (life of tire) is poor. Tires are worn out at less than 25,000 miles.
Traction is great for first 10K miles, after that, it is a product of diminishing returns. At about 12K miles, I needed 4WD to drive up my lawn when the grass was damp from dew. These were OE on my Tundra, and for the life of me, I have no idea why.
As a highway tire, they're OK, but who buys a 300+ HP, full-sized 4WD pickup truck for highway use only? Nobody, that's who.
Even light forays off-road (or travelling on rural, dirt roads) leave much to be desired. Bad planing in mud puddles, nevermind rear traction in snow (even light snow!).
I would not recommend this tire. It is my only complaint about the truck, to be honest.

the oe tires were the bridgestone dueler h/t D684 II. these are useless and i will not purchase these ever again!!! I called and spoke to consumer affairs at bridgestone and they told me that these tires do not have a mileage warranty and, therefore, there is nothing they can do to compensate me since I have to purchase a new set of 4 tires now.

This is absurd that these tires are practically worn out at 23000 miles. I can not drive them in the snowy weather now and bridgestone will not do anything about helping me.

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE THESE TIRES, THEY ARE USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!
