The WeatherPeak is Bridgestone's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of coupes, sedans, crossovers, SUVs and minivans who are looking for luxurious comfort and reliable performance built to inspire confidence for any season, any weather, and any journey. The WeatherPeak was built as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance. It is designed to be a one-tire solution for drivers in environments that experience all four seasons, but don't receive sufficient snowfall or icy conditions to require a dedicated winter tire.
The durable, all-season compound is molded into a symmetric pattern to provide traction in variable conditions. Evolving sipes in the central ribs help ensure tread element stiffness for predictable steering response and become usable biting edges for slippery conditions as the tire wears. The large shoulder blocks generate sure-footed dry cornering characteristics and feature generous lateral notches that help evacuate water from the footprint in dynamic handling scenarios. Wide circumferential grooves promote hydroplaning resistance and feature Snow Vices for enhanced grip in slush and snow, helping deliver the traction needed to receive the 3PMSF symbol.
Internal construction of the WeatherPeak features a single-ply polyester casting supporting two steel belts. A nylon reinforcement is added for enhanced high-speed stability and performance.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

Still too new to rate for snow but wet traction and hydroplaning resistance is excellent. I had Firestone Champion Fuel Fighters on for 4 years before getting these and so far i am very impressed with the overall quality. It's been everything i have read in other reviews. I will post a winter review after i experience some snowy weather.

I have owned this tire for about 1.5 months now. The Reno, NV area has experienced some of the heaviest snow and ice conditions that I have seen in the twenty years that I have lived here, shades of why we left the snow belt of Western New York and lake effect snow storms. My Bridgestone Weather Peaks have not disappointed me in any way in all driving conditions. I highly reccomend this tire and the service I received from Taggart at Tire Rack, along with the expert installation from Discount Tire here in Reno.

...Dry traction performance similar to wet. Does reduce gas mileage significantly from the factory original low resistance tires, i.e. 4-5mpg, at least at standard 35psi pressure...
This is early in the game, so some attributes have not been tested, e.g. wear-and-tear, snow and gas mileage with extra-inflation of tires.
There are three components to review- the tires, purchase on Tire Rack, install experience.
Tires, Very smooth and quiet, right out of the box. Nice steering- not too loose and not too precise, right in the middle. Very good traction in wet. Glides along almost like floating. I have not yet tested in heavy, sustained rain yet. Dry traction performance similar to wet. Does reduce gas mileage significantly from the factory original "low resistance" tires, i.e. 4-5mpg, at least at standard 35psi pressure. I have not tested yet at 38-40psi.
No test on anything winter, no indication on treadwear or how long tire retains its characteristics yet. Overall, these reminds me of Turanza Quiettrack without the 500 mile break-in period for noise.
Tire Rack, Best objective information in the business about tires; customer service connected to the company and to the customer. High marks. Pretty good on shipping tires promptly and fresh tires, too (less than 6 months old).

I definitely notice that these tires feel softer, and give a smoother ride, and transmit slightly less vibration from the road. The softer / smoother ride is definitely noticeable, and I really like it, especially since cornering and handling do not seem to suffer at all as a trade-off...
I had previously used 3 sets of Michelin grand touring tires, which were the tires it came with from the factory. I decided to try these both for the better snow traction rating (which I can't test yet), and the overall feedback from other users. I was wondering if the slightly more aggressive tread pattern would cause more noise, but it doesn't. Even in a quiet car, I can't hear these tires make any noise audible above the wind noise, even at highway speeds. I definitely notice that these tires feel softer, and give a smoother ride, and transmit slightly less vibration from the road. There may be just slightly less feedback on harder cornering, but not enough to drop the rating. I don't drive very aggressively, but in some occasional hard cornering they stay stuck to the pavement, and in situations where the Michelins used to squeal from a stoplight or when accelerating around a corner, these don't. Traction seems to be a bit better all around. The softer / smoother ride is definitely noticeable, and I really like it, especially since cornering and handling do not seem to suffer at all as a trade-off. Only a couple thousand miles on them so far, and no winter weather yet, but I'm glad I bought these over what would have otherwise been a 4th set of Michelin grand touring tires.

...Was pleasantly surprised by their performance throughout the dry part of the season... they're not super noisy at highway speeds & tread wear seems good / normal...
Purchased a set of 4 BRIDGESTONE Weatherpeak tires for our FWD Sienna at the end of last winter. Was pleasantly surprised by their performance throughout the dry part of the season… they’re not super noisy at highway speeds & tread wear seems good / normal. Wife caught a large screw in the tread that exited out the sidewall on one of the tires - required replacing the tire. Purchased replacement through tire rack.com & had it installed at the local tire shop. The 2 year road hazard guarantee covered the cost of the tire! Had an opportunity to drive the tires on drifting & packed snow this winter - very predictable - great traction. Then everything froze over - every surface covered in thick ice. Very little tire spin when driven carefully & smoothly. Again, very predictable handling characteristics in the worst slippery conditions.

...I cannot speak to tread wear, i have only done 7k miles, and they perform as new, and appear as new...
If you're looking at this tire it should be because you want a single tire to run year round through winter with light snow and summer. This is essentially a jack of all trades tire in order to not have to switch wheel sets for winter months in snow. If you are not expecting to see snow, do not get these; there are better all seasons for grip levels for strictly dry or wet. These do not perform as well in snow as dedicated winter tires. They do not have as much grip in dry as a lot of all seasons, and certainly not summer performance tires.
With that being said, for the role that they play, these tires are tremendous. I love driving spiritedly in the canyons, and I have definitely noticed a lot less dry grip. This is ok, and to put another perspective on it, it simply makes the car more playful at a slower speed. I do not have space for a second set of wheels and tires for snow, otherwise I would do that, and have more summer oriented tires. When it does snow, simply slow down and these will hook up and get you through any light snow. I do not have experience in anything over about 10" of snow, but I would be very careful at that point. In light snow these are very dependable for grip. The benefit to this tread pattern, is that it is not directional. This means that it is not biased towards acceleration forwards or backwards. This means braking is exceptional. Decreasing speed is much more important than increasing speed. Be aware of this when choosing tires.
Again, this is a specific tire for those that need a true 4 season potential. It does nothing great, but for my situation, that is absolutely ideal. I cannot speak to tread wear, i have only done 7k miles, and they perform as new, and appear as such. I cannot speak to deep snow, or ice traction. No noticeable road noise.
