The WeatherPeak is Bridgestone's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of coupes, sedans, crossovers, SUVs and minivans who are looking for luxurious comfort and reliable performance built to inspire confidence for any season, any weather, and any journey. The WeatherPeak was built as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance. It is designed to be a one-tire solution for drivers in environments that experience all four seasons, but don't receive sufficient snowfall or icy conditions to require a dedicated winter tire.

Bridgestone WeatherPeak Callouts

The durable, all-season compound is molded into a symmetric pattern to provide traction in variable conditions. Evolving sipes in the central ribs help ensure tread element stiffness for predictable steering response and become usable biting edges for slippery conditions as the tire wears. The large shoulder blocks generate sure-footed dry cornering characteristics and feature generous lateral notches that help evacuate water from the footprint in dynamic handling scenarios. Wide circumferential grooves promote hydroplaning resistance and feature Snow Vices for enhanced grip in slush and snow, helping deliver the traction needed to receive the 3PMSF symbol.

Internal construction of the WeatherPeak features a single-ply polyester casting supporting two steel belts. A nylon reinforcement is added for enhanced high-speed stability and performance.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

All-Weather vs. Winter Tires: The Definitive Test(12:05)

Brent and TJ set off with a couple of objectives in this, the first test of 2026. The first is to highlight the differences between two types of Grand Touring tires: all-season and all-weather. Second, to see how they stack up to dedicated winter tires. The internet is a great resource, but not all the information out there is accurate, and this test is designed to truly set the record straight.

Bridgestone WeatherPeak Reviews

Customer surveys indicate the Bridgestone WeatherPeak excels in comfort, with smooth ride quality and low noise earning consistent 8-10 scores. Treadwear receives strong praise for durability in most cases, though a few reports note premature wear. Winter traction stands out with reliable 8-10 ratings in snow and slush, while wet grip and hydroplaning resistance earn near-perfect marks. Dry handling delivers confident cornering and responsiveness, aligning with grand touring expectations. While most drivers rate this tire highly across all categories, treadlife variability warrants attention for those prioritizing long-term value. Overall, it performs as a capable all-season option for year-round comfort and traction.

...The wet traction is totally amazing...

This tire exceeded my expectations for ride quality and noise level. It is amazing how quiet these ties are compared to the factory. Firestone ft140s. The wet traction is totally amazing. Snow is no match for these tires either. The handling and road feel are not what you would expect from a snow and ice rated tire. This tire is truly underrated. My fuel mileage has not suffered as much as I thought either. Approximately 1 mile per gallon less.

Not enough experience to give a thorough review but initial impressions are this is a very good/excellent tire for winter driving. Works equally well as my dedicated winter tires on another vehicle. Surprisingly nimble considering high comfort levels and with it being a touring tire.

Tire traction is really good in all weather conditions (Snow, Wet and Dry). Provides high confidence in maneuverability. Cornering Stability is much better than Continental Pro Contact Tx (OEM tire) as you feel planted on road always even in curvy roads. Tread wear is bad. I have driven 34000 miles mostly in northern weather conditions for 2 years, 7 months and tires have developed cracks due to dry rots.

...Since it's a Cadillac we expect it to be quiet. It is...

Best set of tires I’ve ever put on my wife’s cars.
She will complain about tires if they hydroplane or if traction control kicks in. These Weatherpeak have been great! Since it’s a Cadillac we expect it to be quiet. It is. We live a couple hours north of Detroit and she commutes 25 miles each way on a west - east road. In Michigan, west east roads get icey quickly and she’s really liking these. I’ll be replacing them with the same model!

...Perhaps the most surprising is the wear rate, as we live in rural NE with lots of dirt roads/tar &chip hard roads. Seem to have another 10K left in them which exceeds normal wear for our conditions.

...the wear is silly for the price... on an EV with its higher torque, they wear much too fast

They are not EV suitable, front set had to be replaced after less then 15k, the warranty is useless. Its a good tire otherwise, but the wear is silly for the price. I have them on a subaru as well and they are OK there, but on an EV with its higher torque, they wear much too fast
