S FIT AS tires mold an ultra high performance all-season compound into an asymmetric tread design. Tie bars connect the shoulder blocks to improve dry road handling and promote even wear while Multi-Tread Radius Technology optimizes the tire's contact patch, further reducing the likelihood of irregular wear patterns. Four wide circumferential grooves and streamlined intermediate notches designed with 3D hydroplaning simulation technology help evacuate water while multiple sipes increase the number of biting edges to generate traction in light snow.
The Laufenn S FIT AS tire's internal structure includes two wide, steel belts reinforced with a jointless nylon full cover to improve high-speed handling and durability. A single strand bead wire improves bead uniformity to optimize ride quality, and the high-hardness bead filler is designed to improve handling and steering response.

This Mazda CX-5 is driven by my college-age daughter, sometimes by my wife and sometimes by me. I drive more aggressively than most. I bought these tires bc they had good ratings and were very inexpensive. I have been pleasantly surprised by how they have performed. They are quiet, ride nicely and haven't shown any wear over 5k miles. They track solidly in even heavy rain. We recently had about two inches of snow and the tires pulled the little ute through (2wd) better than expected. I have zero complaints and considering how inexpensive these tires are, I wholeheartedly recommend them AND will buy them again.

Quickly replaced the --- aweful potenzas my gti came with. Took a chance on this brand I never hear of in 2019. Stil same set no issues and they look great. Usually kumho are my tire of choice. Genuinely plant to stick to these tires as I feel I get a quality performance tire for a great price. I would note that they could be more quiet but as a family man, performance and reliability are all I personally care about. But theyre not loud either. Just a little more road noise.

I don't get a lot of wet days, but traction has been good and I didn't notice any hydroplaning with these, while I did with the stock tires.
Wear and tear seems to be fine for the miles I have put on them. The remaining question is how many years does the compound have before it starts cracking. These tires were discounted when I got them, and they actually were many months past manufacturing - possibly explaining the discount. Still, I think these are an underrated set of tires for anyone trying to balance comfort, grip and value-for-money
