The HPZ-02 is Advanta's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire. Available in a wide range of sizes and rim diameters, it’s ideal for used-car reconditioning or for drivers of sporty coupes and sedans seeking a competent on-road handling, a low noise profile, and performance all year round.
The HPZ-02 features an all-season compound that's been molded into a mild asymmetric tread pattern with large shoulder blocks designed for improved cornering and dry traction. The broad contact patch offers further stability at highway speeds or for the unexpected maneuvers of daily travel. Quad circumferential grooves feed into lateral notches to evacuate water from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning. The shoulders utilize large, independent blocks and notches that, in combination, provide additional traction for wet and wintry weather.

User feedback reveals the Advanta HPZ-02 excels in dry traction, with scores consistently 9-10 for confident cornering and responsive handling. Wet performance is also strong, with hydroplaning resistance rated 8-10, though a few note moderate grip in heavy rain. Winter traction (6-8 range) is solid for an all-season tire, handling light snow adequately but showing limitations on ice. Comfort scores 8-10 highlight a smooth, quiet ride, while treadwear ratings (8-10) suggest durability for daily driving. While not a dedicated winter tire, its balanced all-season capabilities and reliable dry/wet performance make it a well-rounded choice for drivers prioritizing year-round usability.

I tried them in the rain last night and was blown away by how they resisted hydroplaning. Really stable at highway speeds through big puddles and standing water...
I am really impressed with these tires so far.. Just over 1000 miles on them, they have a nice smooth, fairly quiet ride. I tried them in the rain last night and was blown away by how they resisted hydroplaning. Really stable at highway speeds through big puddles and standing water.. We will see how the tread holds up over time, but right now I am a fan.. Seem to be a great tire for the money!

...The spring and early summer have been very wet here in the north east and these tires perform well in the rain at highway speeds.
So far a decent tire for the money, I wasn’t expecting much out of these budget friendly tires but they’re ok. The spring and early summer have been very wet here in the north east and these tires perform well in the rain at highway speeds.

The car that these were installed in is a quattro (all wheel drive), 400+ hp, naturally aspirated v10 and these keep the power down very well in both cold and warm temps. I've driven in as low as 20 degrees and as hot as 80 so far and pushing the car spiritedly around driving roads...
The short and long of these tires is for a uhp all season, for generally around 5-700 dollars, this is an excellent purchase. Longevity/reliability is unknown but I have high hopes for them
For some context: I mainly drive bmw's, both xdrive and rwd of all different power levels. I've driven on michelins, pirelli's and continentals and while the dws is my favorite of the 3, they are still in a premium category.
I was between vredestein, falken, and these in the budget category and when the price was 75% of the former, I thought I might as well just try them out.

Tire noise is very minimal and good absorption of bumps since they are go flats. Wet traction gives good confidence and while most quattro systems are fwd biased, the turn in and response is great, even in a more isolated luxury barge.
Great buy for the price. In it's category, I'd give it an 8.5 or even a 9 out of 10 for overall scoring. To the whole of uhp all seasons, I'd lower it to 7.5 since there genuinely are much better options like the dws and pilot sport 4 a/s that just turn the dials up more in drivability, comfortability and reliability
Best way to describe these are they are a perfect set for your project car-but maybe not the daily

I drive my car pretty hard, but these tires are super impressive. Great traction and a smooth, quiet ride...
I had actually ordered a different pair of tires for the front of my Challenger RT, but they only had 1 by the time I ordered. I got a phone call, explaining the issue. I asked the representative which other tires had similar performance, and he offered these. I was a little short on time, so I just said to send these. Impressed barely describes these. I drive my car pretty hard, but these tires are super impressive. Great traction and a smooth, quiet ride. I hadn't even looked at these before, and that was a mistake. Great set of tires, and the price was incredible. I'm thankful for the Customer Service Representative who told me about these.

So far so good. Haven't measured tread wear or anything but they absolutely stick and don't deflect much for an all season. No louder than the 1200 dollar set of Michelin pilots they replaced and very slightly more comfortable. They have a built in lip protector which is great but they are kind of ugly in the sidewall area. Need a better logo design. I often drive my car on the absolute ragged edge and the only surprise from these tires is how well they perform(not even considering their price point). If I get 20k miles out of these I'll definitely buy them again. Oh and I forgot to mention that out on an old highway somewhere in Mexico at 164 mph these tires feel just as stable as the Michelin ps4s they replaced. Ymmv.

Great tire so far! Sitting on a 19x11 wheel with no traction issues.. I can floor it in the rain and keep traction (most of the time) with 280whp. No slippage or traction lights come on, when I had firehawk indy500s they would slip in the rain easily, even brand new. Driving mostly in rain and hot summer days (Florida) and couldn't be happier, especially at the price point.

Not normally a review writer. However, these tires have exceeded my expectations for the $. This Jaguar F-Pace with 22” wheels is notorious for having a harsh ride. These Advanta tires are transformative compared to the OE Pirelli tires in regard to comfort. I no longer cringe when having to go over broken pavement. While they may prove to not have the same traction as the Pirelli tires they replaced the trade off is more than welcome. Comfortable and quiet and seem fine so far. Add in the value factor for costing 1/2 as much. Great bargain!

For the money, I don't think there is a better tire out there for a daily driven vehicle. They are super comfortable and very quiet. So far, we are all very happy with the purchase. I ride with my entire family and the kids noticed the improved ride comfort. The tires look great and feel sturdy. Can't beat that price from Tire Rack for that kind of low profile tires. I look forward to driving many miles on those ADVANTA tires.
