The WeatherPeak is Bridgestone's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of coupes, sedans, crossovers, SUVs and minivans who are looking for luxurious comfort and reliable performance built to inspire confidence for any season, any weather, and any journey. The WeatherPeak was built as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance. It is designed to be a one-tire solution for drivers in environments that experience all four seasons, but don't receive sufficient snowfall or icy conditions to require a dedicated winter tire.
The durable, all-season compound is molded into a symmetric pattern to provide traction in variable conditions. Evolving sipes in the central ribs help ensure tread element stiffness for predictable steering response and become usable biting edges for slippery conditions as the tire wears. The large shoulder blocks generate sure-footed dry cornering characteristics and feature generous lateral notches that help evacuate water from the footprint in dynamic handling scenarios. Wide circumferential grooves promote hydroplaning resistance and feature Snow Vices for enhanced grip in slush and snow, helping deliver the traction needed to receive the 3PMSF symbol.
Internal construction of the WeatherPeak features a single-ply polyester casting supporting two steel belts. A nylon reinforcement is added for enhanced high-speed stability and performance.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

Customer surveys indicate the Bridgestone WeatherPeak excels in comfort, with smooth ride quality and low noise earning consistent 8-10 scores. Treadwear receives strong praise for durability in most cases, though a few reports note premature wear. Winter traction stands out with reliable 8-10 ratings in snow and slush, while wet grip and hydroplaning resistance earn near-perfect marks. These Bridgestones, as expected, especially at full/new tread depth, are great in rain...
These Bridgestones were purchased for their rating which is capable in mild snow. In Western North Carolina mountains we have several snows per winter which are quite challenging - often ice and slush. This tire set on our minivan was also selected because we travel to Michigan frequently, including Christmastime. It's only been one season and I've not experience snow yet, but Highway ride and noise are very good. I once bought a well-rated set of Coopers which for whatever reason didn't "resonate" with my van (or did resonate!) and it wasn't unlike driving in my pickup truck with all-terrain tires. I tolerated it as long as I could and finally had them removed after less than 7k miles. These Bridgestones, as expected, especially at full/new tread depth, are great in rain - and the off-going old set of tires is not a fair comparison. I've shopped with Tire Rack for many years. I'm pleased with the customer service - even as mergers and more online features have been incorporated. When I purchased this tire set, I did not plan much time for them to arrive in time for mounting before a planned trip to Michigan. Jim called (on the phone!) to confirm ETA which was very helpful!

...Awesome traction wet and snow all the way to 2/32...
Wisconsin driver. Awesome traction wet and snow all the way to 2/32 but we only go 17,000 miles out of the tires and now worn to 2/32-3/32. Warranty denied due to front tires having a 1/32 ware difference inside tread to outside. The Michelin defenders I took off wore perfectly and I got 70K out of them. Guess going back to Michelin.

Most customers rate winter traction as excellent, with scores of 9-10 for snow and deep snow performance. Ice traction sees mostly 7-8s, reflecting confident grip in typical winter conditions expected from a Grand Touring All-Season tire.

...Love this as a quiet snow tire for the extreme winter conditions in WV and my love of going to the ski mountains every weekend. I have Winter only tires for my 2WD Civic and these Weatherpeaks match performance in snow + ice...
Horrible Tread life. I rotate every 6,000 miles with Oil Changes. By 40,000 miles tread was only suitable for summer roads. Love this as a quiet snow tire for the extreme winter conditions in WV and my love of going to the ski mountains every weekend. I have Winter only tires for my 2WD Civic and these Weatherpeaks match performance in snow + ice. Unfortunately, they don't last anywhere near the 60k rating, but they do behave very well in the summer. Once it gets warm dedicated snows need to come off Civic as braking distances and steering sensitivity changes if temps stay above 70. Weatherpeaks are great all year long. Note that I removed 2nd and 3rd row seating from Sienna. Never have more than my wife or I in the vehicle with light accessories such as skis/snowboards/boots in winter or surfboard/windsurfboards in summer.

...Initially I was impressed with the tire. It handled well, was quiet, and had good traction in dry/rainy roads...
I've had a set of these tires for just over a year and have put a little over 20,000 miles on them. Initially I was impressed with the tire. It handled well, was quiet, and had good traction in dry/rainy roads. Snow and ice it's ok. Not super impressed there. I did like that these tires are lighter and get better MPG than other tires. However, what blew my mind is after this short time owning them, the tires are already bald (3/32)!!! I can't believe I only got 20k miles out of a set of brand new tires for this price.
Not to mention, I've never had a tire pop and go flat in my life until I got this set. When they were fairly new, I ran over a spark plug in the road at about 45 mph. It went straight through the tire and was able to be repaired by a local tire shop.
Sure, I could fall back on the MFG 70k warranty, but I honestly don't want another set of Bridgestone tires in my life. I would avoid these tires at all costs! Unless you want to buy a new set every year. Then go for it..

...Surprisingly nimble considering high comfort levels and with it being a touring tire.
Not enough experience to give a thorough review but initial impressions are this is a very good/excellent tire for winter driving. Works equally well as my dedicated winter tires on another vehicle. Surprisingly nimble considering high comfort levels and with it being a touring tire.
