The Scorpion Verde (Italian for green) All Season is Pirelli's eco-friendly Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups. The Ecoimpact* icons on the sidewall of the Scorpion Verde All Season highlight its environmental compatibility where it reduces rolling resistance and tire weight, compared to Pirelli's previous CUV/SUV tire lines, to increase fuel economy and lower the vehicle's CO2 emissions. The Scorpion Verde All Season is designed to combine dry and wet road handling, comfort and year-round capabilities, including all-season traction in light snow.
The Scorpion Verde All Season molds a silica tread compound into an asymmetric tread design that features an optimized rubber-to-void ratio and uniform contact patch to blend dry road traction and performance with uniform wear. Four wide circumferential grooves displace water to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while longitudinal siping for lateral stability on loose surfaces and high-density lateral siping enhance wet and wintertime traction.
*Specific sizes utilizing eco-focusing manufacturing methods are identified with Pirelli's Ecoimpact designation on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.
Limited sizes of the Scorpion Verde All Season are available with Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

Can the New Crossover/SUV Tires Help Yours Drive More Like a Car?(03:59)
Today's CUVs and SUVs have evolved from their "light truck with the enclosed, cargo carrying convenience of a hatchback" design. Many prioritize on-road sportiness vs. all-around utility. To keep pace, new tire options for these vehicles blend handling, ride quality and year-round traction.
User feedback reveals the Pirelli P Zero excels in dry traction, with scores often reaching 9-10 for confident cornering and precise handling. Wet traction also earns praise (7-10 range), offering reliable grip in rain, though a few note reduced hydroplaning resistance in heavy downpours. Comfort receives positive marks for ride quality, but noise levels show mixed feedback, with some reporting noticeable road hum. Treadwear scores (0-8) highlight concerns about durability, with many users noting a shorter lifespan than expected. As a max-performance summer tire, it delivers strong results in its intended categories, though aggressive drivers may prioritize its dynamic handling over long-term wear.

...Overall a great tire that performs well in all types of wet/dry conditions.
Got a set for the rear of my F Type R at a huge close out discount. These are the OEM tires and while I looked at some others, the price point on these was just too good to pass up. Overall a great tire that performs well in all types of wet/dry conditions.

...superb G force cornering, blistering road handling and amazing wet traction... when you do slip, predictability of this tire is amazing (using traction control in sporty mode) voila !! this wont be your long lasting tire for sure but, it will keep you safe on wet road and get you back home...
this is the tire that comes stock on the Camaro 2014 2SS RS(V8), well...I must say the engineers at Pirelli and, Chevy really did their homework. Balance between superb G force cornering, blistering road handling and amazing wet traction. there is a G force meter on the Camaro HUD (Heads up display)and I have recorded 0.91G on concrete and no slip. However, when you do slip, predictability of this tire is amazing (using traction control in sporty mode) voila !! this wont be your long lasting tire for sure but, it will keep you safe on wet road and get you back home. Enjoy!

Solid tire with good all around performance. Handles great on wet roads. Hard to find as no local tire dealers seem to stock the tire. Wears faster than I would like, but the traction is great.

These tires are amazing. Each lap I increased my speed and could tell when I was reaching the edge, but these tires never let go...
These tires came stock on my new car. I previously had the older P Zeros Pirellis on my 2007 911 and did not really like them. They were fast wearing and did not let you know when you where getting close to losing traction. I replaced them with Michelin Super Sports and truly love these tires. I still have them on my 2007 (now my wife's car). I recently took my car to Miller Motorsports Park for a PCA driving event. The salesman who sold me the car (Daniel Eastman, an actual race car driver (see him in the video with Jan Leno and the Porsche 918)) said I should give these tires a try. I was very surprised. These tires are amazing. Each lap I increased my speed and could tell when I was reaching the edge, but these tires never let go. To make an actual comparison with the new Michelins, I would need to have two identical cars. That's not going to happen. I do recommend these tires. When these wear out (I bought the car mid-December) I will replace them with the Michelins and then I can make a better evaluation.

...Even on corners with rough road surfaces, the Pirellis don't skip and neither lose traction and the cornering grip is always fenomenal. With an aggressive alignment setup there is simply no understeer, in my BMW...
I've bought these tires (225/40 front, 255/35 rear - 18inch weels) for my BMW e92 Coupe to replace the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Runflats. I run these tires with 36 PSI (2.5 bar) front and 37PSI (2.55 bar)rear pressure (cold), 0deg40' camber front, 0mm total toe front, 1deg30' camber rear, +1mm total toe rear. There is simply night and day difference between the Pirellis and the Bridgestones, especially in therms of "road feel" and both dry and wet grip. Bridgestones had the best steering response (they were runflat) but the Pirellis gives you more feedback and are easier to drive to the limit because you can hear a bit of tire's "squealing" before they abandon you. Even on corners with rough road surfaces, the Pirellis don't skip and neither lose traction and the cornering grip is always fenomenal. With an aggressive alignment setup there is simply no understeer, in my BMW. Sidewall is still stiff enough for accurate driving, and tirewear seems good. Pirellis doesn't need as much as time as the Bridgestones to get warmed, but the tire performance -with appropriate tires pressure- lasts very long and doesn't drop during an "insane street session". Finally, there is a bit of tire noise but I don't really care about this. Phenomenal Max Performance tire...

Most customers rate comfort highly, with many scoring 9s and 10s for smooth ride and low noise. While a few lower scores exist, the Pirelli P Zero excels in delivering refined handling for summer driving.

...Daily driving situation: these tires provide quiet and comfort ride compared to regular all-season tires. No wonder these tires are used on luxury performance vehicles; Audi,BMW, Benz, Aston Martin, etc...
First of all, I don't understand why anyone would give bad rating after using these tires on cold/snow covered road. That's just nonsense. I'm only using this tire in Summer and have taken to few track days with my S4. It doesn't provide the best grip, but it was manageable and predictable. Daily driving situation: these tires provide quiet and comfort ride compared to regular all-season tires. No wonder these tires are used on luxury performance vehicles; Audi,BMW, Benz, Aston Martin, etc. For OEM tires, these are very good tires. If you want to sustain OEM ride, I'd recommend using these tires.

...The problem I am having (and a good problem at that) is that this car is so good, I'm not sure if the cornering stability, steering responsiveness and ride comfort is more the car or the tires. Noise level is non existent since I have a modified exhaust but I'll be sure to monitor as the miles accumulate...
I have a little less than 3,000 miles on these tires that came as OEM on my 2012 BMW M3 Coupe Competition Package. To be honest, I haven't been able to test the limits of the tires yet, except for a few cornering exhibitions when DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) is off, resulting in lots of understeer. Most of my normal driving is city with the occasional highway, but spirited nonetheless. It's starting to get cold now so the tires do take a little time to warm up in the morning, as with every Summer Performance Tire. The problem I am having (and a good problem at that) is that this car is so good, I'm not sure if the cornering stability, steering responsiveness and ride comfort is more the car or the tires. Noise level is non existent since I have a modified exhaust but I'll be sure to monitor as the miles accumulate. I don't have any complaints on these tires as of yet. Wet traction seems to be good, and no problems with hydroplaning. Treadwear won't be an issue to after 10K miles but so far, no unusual wear patterns and tread is even. Based upon the early review, I am happy with them.

Despite some high scores (9s-10s), many rate treadwear between 0-6. Frequent reports of premature wear, rapid degradation, and needing early replacement. Customers express disappointment in tread life, with excessive wear noted even within summer tire expectations.

Boxy SUVs based on the trusty old pickup have long since transformed into the sleek SUVs or svelte CUVs on the road today. Tires for these vehicles have transformed, too, and plenty of eco-focused choices abound while other designs are highly tuned to give drivers plenty of a specific attribute.
We compared a new tire offering in Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season with several category favorites in this recent test.
Testing Eco-Focused CUV/SUV All-Season Tires in Real World Conditions(02:48)
Tires designed to be eco-friendly were initially offered to drivers of small hybrid or ultra-efficient cars. This trend evolved to include everyday passenger cars and has continued into the crossover/SUV market.
We compared several eco-friendly CUV/SUV tires to see how they drive in everyday conditions. Here are the results of our testing.
