The Scorpion Verde (Italian for green) All Season is Pirelli's eco-friendly Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups. The Ecoimpact* icons on the sidewall of the Scorpion Verde All Season highlight its environmental compatibility where it reduces rolling resistance and tire weight, compared to Pirelli's previous CUV/SUV tire lines, to increase fuel economy and lower the vehicle's CO2 emissions. The Scorpion Verde All Season is designed to combine dry and wet road handling, comfort and year-round capabilities, including all-season traction in light snow.
The Scorpion Verde All Season molds a silica tread compound into an asymmetric tread design that features an optimized rubber-to-void ratio and uniform contact patch to blend dry road traction and performance with uniform wear. Four wide circumferential grooves displace water to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while longitudinal siping for lateral stability on loose surfaces and high-density lateral siping enhance wet and wintertime traction.
*Specific sizes utilizing eco-focusing manufacturing methods are identified with Pirelli's Ecoimpact designation on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.
Limited sizes of the Scorpion Verde All Season are available with Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

El Scorpion Verde All Season esta diseñado para combinar maniobrabilidad sobre superficies secas y mojadas, confort y capacidad de andar durante todas las estaciones del año, incluyendo superficies con poca nieve durante el invierno.

Can the New Crossover/SUV Tires Help Yours Drive More Like a Car? (03:59)
Today's CUVs and SUVs have evolved from their "light truck with the enclosed, cargo carrying convenience of a hatchback" design. Many prioritize on-road sportiness vs. all-around utility. To keep pace, new tire options for these vehicles blend handling, ride quality and year-round traction.
User feedback reveals the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season delivers a smooth, quiet ride with strong dry and wet traction, earning consistent 8-10 scores in these categories. Treadwear receives praise for longevity in many cases, though some report rapid wear impacting satisfaction. Winter traction is generally reliable in light snow, but ice performance shows mixed results, with scores dipping to 3-5 in challenging conditions. Steering responsiveness and cornering stability earn high marks, reinforcing its crossover/SUV touring focus. While most praise comfort and all-season versatility, a minority note uneven tread life and reduced ice grip as trade-offs for year-round usability.

...Have driven in the rain with them and felt totally confident; important sensation for my wife...
These tires were selected for their wet traction and light snow traction as primary attributes. Low road noise and drive comfort (i.e., cornering, etc.) were a close second. The tires were back ordered but most definitely worth the rate. They ride beautifully...quiet is not adequate to share how nice the ride is. Have driven in the rain with them and felt totally confident; important sensation for my wife. Tirerack did not over/under advertise and that is why I am very loyal to this company. The support Seth provided throughout the entire sale was excellent. Well done!

Great tires. I live in Pittsburgh, a lot of hills and winters tests the tires well. I’ve been on the interstate in the middle of snow storms and only slowed me down, passing tractor trailers that were pulled off. Or a downpour in the same conditions. Just slow and steady with confidence. Especially handled well in 4wd.
I’ve since traded in my truck and now have them on a Tahoe. They came stock on our Range Rover. I’ll stick with them

I had no problem driving around town watching other cars slip and slide. Not me, I felt in control and had a smile on my face all afternoon...
I wanted a good winter touring tire. That's what I got. I live in the U P of Michigan. The day I got them put on we had an ice storm. I had no problem driving around town watching other cars slip and slide. Not me, I felt in control and had a smile on my face all afternoon.. I drive a Chevy Traverse. The car handles great with these tires. My brother in law was telling me to slow down for a turn so I pushed the pedal hard and the nose of the car came down and we stopped about 400 feet before the turn. He was amazed that a touring tire performed like good snow tires. Only had them a month. I have driven through some pretty good snows both very dry and very wet and sloppy. No issues so far. , 1

Too few miles on them in unchallenging conditions for a full review, but I can say that the steering response, noise level (virtually none), and road feel are all excellent. My previous tires on this car (an quick and superb-handling Alfa Stelvio) were Pirelli Scorpion Verdes that I loved the supple comfort of, but these Weatheractives were the highest rated in their category (vs. the Verdes #6 position), and for all the reasons that matter to me. The Weatheractives are a bit firmer than the Verdes, delivering a little more road feel, but not in a negative way, and their promise of performance in the wet and their winter roadworthiness are further pluses. So far, very pleased with them, and no regrets.

These tires are excellent. Traction in dry and wet have been excellent...
These tires are excellent. Traction in dry and wet have been excellent. Nose level is the lowest I've ever experienced in a tire. Tire Rack's testing and review was spot on. The tire gives a light steering response and I would like a little heavier feel, but the car had a light steering response from the original equipment tires. I'll have to see over time how good tread life is.

...We've driven these in snow, rain & dry roads and had great traction and comfort...
These are the best tires I've purchased for any of my vehicles - hands down. I've already purchased a second set for another Acura RDX that we own. We also have an X7 and X3 BMW that, when the time comes, will be getting these tires also. We've driven these in snow, rain & dry roads and had great traction and comfort. Unfortunately, after about 5k miles, one of the tires got a screw that was too close to the sidewall to patch. The repair shop measured treadwear and the tires were like brand new still! The Tire Rack guarantee was fantastic also - replaced that tire and all it cost me was some labor. Will definitely buy more sets of these tires thru Tire Rack &, as stated, I already have!

These tires provide a much more comfortable ride, noticeably less road noise and a greater surefootedness on hills, corners and when stopping in both dry and wet conditions (even in light snow)...
These are fantastic tires. A huge improvement over the OEM Continental Extreme Contact. These tires provide a much more comfortable ride, noticeably less road noise and a greater surefootedness on hills, corners and when stopping in both dry and wet conditions (even light snow). I’m curious to see how they wear, but as far as comfort and performance, these are very good tires, literally night and day difference from the Continentals the car came with.

...Treadwear is on target, lost about 2/32 after 20K miles, with 1 tire rotation in the middle...
very safe choice for a NE minivan driver not willing to deal with the headaches of swapping tires for seasons. I found them very comfortable during driving, with low noise at HW speeds. Excellent traction on dry and wet surfaces, strong and predictable performance in packed snow. Treadwear is on target, lost about 2/32 after 20K miles, with 1 tire rotation in the middle. Would buy again, they are pricey but well worth the money.
