Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Open Country A/T III is Toyo's Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, crossovers and SUVs who want capable off-road traction combined with responsive and predictable on-road handling. The Open Country A/T3 is designed to get you there and get back home, focusing on wet performance and wintertime traction sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Open Country AT3 Tread Pattern and Compound

A specialized, all-season, cut-and-chip resistant tread compound is molded into the Open Country AT3's symmetric tread pattern, utilizing an evenly distributed void area design. The pattern is engineered to enhance off-road traction and increase block rigidity for better dry handling and stability, while still incorporating comfortable and quiet on-road operation. The wet traction-focused compound of the Open Country A/T III, along with 3D Multi-Wave Sipes, increase wet traction and stability. Generous lateral grooves increase hydroplaning resistance while also bolstering traction in snowy conditions, and help the tire earn the 3PMSF symbol.

The Toyo Open Country AT3 offers two distinct sidewall designs built into all sizes, allowing for a subtle customization of the vehicle's look. One side features wraparound shoulder elements with a solid design. The opposite side, and sidewalls with outlined white letters, feature a similar block design but with the elements visually broken up by accent lines splitting the block area.

Toyo Open Country AT3 Internal Construction

The internal construction of the Open Country AT3 utilizes a durable, two-ply polyester casing, providing a robust foundation for twin, high-strength steel belts. A single, nylon reinforcement ply is added for further durability and increased high-speed capability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...They are fine in the rain as long as you don't get into the throttle too much.

Great tires for everyday driving, back road spirited drives and the occasional light to moderate track day as they perform very well on the track. They are fine in the rain as long as you don’t get into the throttle too much.

...They handle dry conditions like I'm on rails, they handle rain like it's a dry day and they handle hard fast cornering with very little complaining...

I’ve had several different Michelin tires on my vehicles over the years. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan. Those tires were over priced and always under performed. I’ve found specific Continental tires and Yokohama tires to perform much better on all of my other vehicles, both SUVs and performance cars.
However, when I got my CT5-V, it came with Michelin tires. I wasn’t expecting much. Wow, was I wrong. These tires on this vehicle are an awesome combination. At first, I ordered my car with the all season version of these tires due to Florida rains. But after reading multiple reviews I changed my order to summer only tires. I’m so glad I did.
These tires handle everything I ask them to do. They handle dry conditions like I’m on rails, they handle rain like it’s a dry day and they handle hard fast cornering with very little complaining. These tires provide the most confidence I’ve ever had in a street tire.
As far as tread wear, they’ve performed well. Due to the asphalt roads in Florida being made with shells, the roads eat tires. On other tires I’ve seldom ever gotten anywhere close to the advertised mileage. These tires are rated for 30k miles and I just passed 25k. I will admit that I’ve never used launch control because I didn’t want to give up several hundred miles of tread for a few seconds of fun. However, for spirited driving in hot Florida conditions and enjoying the occasional corner or two, the tread life is better than expected. I’m down to the wear bars on the rear tires but they STILL grip the road and still handle well enough in the rain, though I haven’t pushed them in the rain for the last several thousand miles, just to be safe.
I will definitely be getting another set of these tires for my car and I strongly recommend them for yours.

...The Pilot Sport 4S's definitely brought life back to the steering and suspension of my Infiniti Q50 Sport, and still have a sporty but comfortable ride...

While I haven't driven too many miles on these Pilot Sport 4S's these tires have experienced a good selection of roadways, from neighborhood streets and city arteries to roads that are always under construction to high-speed highway and toll road driving, and I am very happy with these tires so far. The Pilot Sport 4S's definitely brought life back to the steering and suspension of my Infiniti Q50 Sport, and still have a sporty but comfortable ride. The Pilot Sport 4S are relatively quiet and after 7500 wore very evenly. I tire profile gives me a sporty look without any suspension mods. I highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tire

...At almost 27000 miles the tread bar is just starting to become visible. No side wear all 4 tires are wearing perfectly even.

Best all around tire I've ever had. At almost 27000 miles the tread bar is just starting to become visible. No side wear all 4 tires are wearing perfectly even. Still smooth no noise. Tire is patchable as long as nail or screw is on outer band left or right side of tire. I've driven over a million miles in my lifetime and have never had a high performance tire last like these. BTW no flats only a screw in tire outer band haven't fixed yet loses about 2 lbs a month.
