Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 

I really love these tires!
I had narrowed my all-terrain choices to three different tires and Carter at Tire Rack, suggested the Toyos for my intended use. The positives are;
-They look really awesome! I am running a slightly larger size than stock. 265/65 versus 265/60.
-Might partially be because of the taller sidewall, but these tires ride smoother than the Michelin Primax LTX that I had before. The Michelin were excellent tires, I just wanted something more off-road oriented.
-The tires have handled the easy to moderate off-roading extremely well.
- I was very impressed with how these tires handled the recent ice storm we had here in Central Texas.

The negative negative;
-I am getting approximately 1 mile per gallon less than I was with the Michelin.
-There is a very small amount of tire noise. Though I can’t decide if that’s a positive or negative. If the music is on low volume, you can’t hear the tires. In fact, if the AC is on low, you can’t hear the tires. The little sound that you do get, seems to inspire confidence in the vehicles ability to go off-roading. You have to really listen for it to hear it. I do believe the tires were slightly louder for the first 200 miles than they are now.
The tires are quieter than I was expecting.

I hope Toyo continues making these tires because when these need to be replaced, I will definitely be buying these again! Also, they smell good.

We had a recent big snow storm and was excited to see how these tires would perform. I tried and tried to get stuck, but these tires proved their worth never once letting me get stuck in about 14 inches of snow. Fanastic Tires.

For the everyday driver who isn’t off‑roading, be aware: there is a huge difference between Passenger (P‑rated) and Light Truck (LT‑rated) tires. These reviews rarely specify which version people are actually using, so for clarity, this review is specifically about the P‑rated Toyo Open Country AT3. My 4Runner (with mods) came with LT295/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and I honestly hated them. They rode harshly, were difficult to balance, and wore unevenly. To be fair to Nitto, I drive mostly highway miles, and my complaints are really about running LT tires on lighter SUVs like a 4Runner when you don’t truly need LT construction. It’s like strapping bricks to your feet, calling them shoes, and trying to run a marathon. Don’t buy tires just because they look cool—be honest about your actual use case. Now that the elephant in the room is called out, my experience with the P‑rated Toyo AT3 has been outstanding. Swapping out those “bricks” felt like going on a diet and losing 100 lbs... ok haven't done that, but I digress. They balance easily, ride softly, and stay surprisingly quiet at highway speeds. What has impressed me most, though, is the winter performance. I live in Wisconsin, and the traction in both light and deep snow is excellent. Ice grip is even better—shockingly good, actually. I drive 20k+ miles per year, and so far, I’m very impressed. My only concern is long‑term wear. Expecting 65k miles from any tire like this is unrealistic, and saving a few bucks at the expense of safety is never worth it. After 10k miles, I’m curious how they’ll hold up as they seem to be wearing out faster than I would have anticipated. Yea, BTW, I rotate every 4k miles so don't hate on me for neglecting my rubber. In summary, well done, Toyo. I’d buy these again, and I appreciate having P‑rated sizes typically reserved for LT applications.

This was the first time purchasing this brand of tire. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains where we can get lots of snow. In the past I’ve had other brands that did excellent but I decided to give this one a try. Big mistake and I am regretting my choice. I should have stuck to what I know does well in snow. In dry conditions, I really love these tires. No humming noise. They feel like they grip well to the dry pavement. Turns are flawless. No resistance. In the rain they also seem to do great although I haven’t been through much rain with them. In snow, they are AWFUL. With others brand in the past, I could roll right over 6-8 inches of snow. No slipping at all. I just recently had a snow storm in my area so naturally my driveway was full of snow. I had to move my suv about 100 feet to get to the main road that was plowed. My tires spun constantly. Keep in mind I had shoveled the area so I wouldn’t have much to go over. But still, slipping on every try. I never experienced that with my past choices. I was slipping all over the place almost hitting my husband’s parked car. Now I’m not naive, I know that one will experience some slipping once in a while in deep snow. But these have no grip in snow. I watched as my husband tried to move my SUV and he was in about 4 inches of snow and the tires just spun. While in 4WD. Then we tried 4LOW. Still nothing. I knew at that point I had made a bad decision. What ----- is I’m making payments on these crappy tires until next Christmas. I’ll never purchase these again. I need to ensure my my family’s safety in snow and this makes me feel like my family’s safety is now at risk if I drive in the snow.

I went with the aggressive look that Michelin didn't have. After extensive research, I went with Toyo. A wider, beefy tire that extends out more to compliment the fender flares. Living in a country environment in Maine, it holds the turns perfectly, and I pushed it more than usual. I must mention, I installed new Bilstein shocks all around with a front steering stabilizer. The only thing I'm concerned with is I'm getting a lot of tire spin on initial go. I think after some scuffing, it should dissappear. A nice bite while plowing in eight inches of snow, even on a decent slope on my property. Noise is minimal, but with the aggressive tread, you'll hear some. Competitive prices. Pretty much with all the other big names, (Michelin, Nitto, Yokohama, etc)
I think you're going to be impressed.

Overall satisfied with the tire, it performs very well off-road as well as on the freeway. I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5 engine so I don't expect to be driving too fast on these tires. Mainly I use this for City driving and off-road fun. I have had the Jeep up to 85 mph on the interstate and the tires ride very smooth and soft. Very comfortable ride. I picked these tires over the BF Goodrich k02s and do not regret it. A very versatile all-terrain tire for any Jeep lover.

Very comfortable ride, smooth. For the price very budget friendly. Looks good and durable. Don't know what else to tell about them. I'd purchase tires from Tire Rack any time, any day.

These tires have been nothing short of phenomenal. With over 120,000 miles on them, they''''ve endured countless high-speed highway drives, miles that would normally eat through tread in no time. They''''ve carried me across the U.S. multiple times and tackled everything from off-roading and mudding to deep snow, clay, sand, and water. No matter the terrain, they’ve held their ground.
They even stood up to a freak incident where a high-voltage line struck my fully charged vehicle, scorching the truck’s body. Thankfully, the rubber tires helped prevent further disaster. Despite all this abuse, they still have a surprising amount of tread left.
If I had one critique, it would be their performance on ice, it could be better. But considering the punishment these tires have taken and how well they’ve performed, I really can’t complain. Hands down, the best tires I’ve ever owned.

35'' tires, i bought my truck with 54,000 miles and put new tires on the next week and just changed them at 125000 miles
